If you are going to watch a film in the next few months, do not miss Gran Torino.
Funny and dramatic, it is also hugely thoughtful. Ideas about race, revenge, friendship, age, “America” to mention a few. Plus, for me, some thought provoking questions about the role of a “Christian” in relating to people.
Really good film, and if you are a fan of Clint Eastwood, then an absolute must.

I saw Gran Torino at the cinema and it’s easily one of the best films I have ever seen. At the end the atmosphere in the cinema was palpable and there was dead silence, almost shock – such is the power of the film.
