I am one who does not attend the institutional church. That makes me and anyone else who has chosen not to attend institution-less Christians. Being a child of God I am part of the body of Christ and part of the Church Jesus is building. Me and people like me can be grouped into what can be call the institution-less church. We don't know who each other are (obveiously) and we are not organized. We live day by day, thanking God for everything He has done and is doing for us and have a very strong relationship with Him though His Spirit. Like Abraham, Issac and Jacob, it's just big sky and God. We live in the total freedom Jesus meant us to have when He died for us on the cross.

The institution is enslaving and demanding, telling us we must become members (unbiblical), pay tithes (also unbiblical) tells us to attende every week (also unbiblical) and pressure us to serve the institution as free labor. The institutional church is a business which could not exist without money. It cloths itself with Christianity and places itself between me and my God making itself the mediator of what God has to say.

The institutional church will tell me to put all my faith and trust in Jesus Christ, God's Son and when I say, "Ok, I guess I don't need you any more." suddenly it changes its tone and then I'm being told, "You can't do it on your own. You need the institution." The institution lies. It's not me that needs the institution. It's the institution that needs me, my free labor and my money.

So how can I be Jesus disciple outside the institution? Like Jesus said in John 15, by bearing fruit... you know, from Galatians, love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentelness meekness, faith, kindness and patients. If the time ever comes that I can help out the poor and widowed, hey, I'll have more than enough to help having not put it in the pockets of salaried pastors, staff and expences for that nice compfy building. You don't know how much joy I've been having now having been freed from the church institution. I am really happy now. I can actually spend time with my wife instead of being at church doing service and church duties and helping to put on that production called Sunday morning worship.

Most quit church because of hypocritical people and polotics. Not me. I loved the people and the pastors. People are people and I understand them being one. What I left was the business of the institution that pressures the leaders into unbiblical things like teaching membership and tithing, pressuring and manipulating people to give thier money and time in free labor in order to live and survive off the blood and sweat of the saints. It was not Jesus intent for His church to become a business people profit from and that aspect of what has become of church has corrupted everyone who is involved in its leadership. This is especially bad when they've put themselves in a position to depend on that profit for thier livelyhood. They make themselves into our modern day pharasees.

One last thing. When Moses went up the mountain to get the law. God's people made themselves a golden calf to worship saying this is what brought us out of Egypt. Later, when Jesus was taken up to heaven, God's people created themselves a sacred golden cow called the church and even say, "There is no salvation apart from the church because we hold in our hands the message of the gospel." The great whore in Revelation is not the Catholic church. It is the church institutions as a whole. It was made by man and is still run by man. It is a business organization that is built on money. Take away the money, the institution dies and true Christianity will live on as seen in China during thier revolution when all the churches were closed. That's when Christianity in China really grew.
