Christmas at CBC

Next week it’s the Schools Week at Cippenham Baptist Church; this is the first of many Christmas Activities.

On Tuesday the 9th of December it’s the Discoverers and Adventurers Christmas Presentation. This is where the children in the 2 of our younger age group youth clubs put on something Christmassy for all to come and see. Last year’s event was a great success with an encore requested at the Carol Service.

On Sunday the 14th of December at 1.00pm it’s the Christmas Lunch in the Youth Centre. This is our traditional yearly festive lunch with Turkey and all the usual Christmas plumage. The cost this year is £4.00 per adult and £2.00 per child under 10. Anybody and everybody is welcome, there are always visitors from outside the church there, so please invite your friends.

The Youth Clubs Christmas Party is on Tuesday the 16th of December, and who knows what madness they will be getting up to! One thing you can be certain of is that it will be fun.

On Sunday the 22nd of December will be the carol service. The details of this event are usually kept a secret until the last minute, but what is always guaranteed is a warm atmosphere, plenty of mince pies, and those songs that you always sing around Christmas time, I can’t remember what they’re called.

At 10.00am on Christmas day there is always a Christmas Day service. This is a brief service to get together and give thanks for what Christmas is all about. Oh and the kids always show off their presents!

If you have any questions about any of the Youth services then please speak to Bob Miles. If you have any questions about, or want to help with or take part in the Carol Service then please speak to Ruth Burton or Robin.

It's very calm over here, why not leave a comment?
