As a relatively new driver I have been looking for a way to reduce the hassle of interior car mist. I don’t like wiping the windows because it leaves messy marks, so I have so wait for the car to heat up and it’s a pain. It’s cold enough on those winter mornings without having to sit there for 5 minutes waiting for the car to heat up so I can see out of the windows.
So anyway after looking at different options I saw this ProVision Fog Clear Gel and thought it would be worth a try. It says on the packet it works for bathroom mirrors too so I cleaned my bathroom mirror, and put the Fog Clear on half of it to see if it would work, and amazingly it did. Half the mirror was completely misted up, the other half was clear.
I put it on my car windscreen and it works great. I have had it on there for a couple of weeks now and the windscreen has never fogged up, while the areas without the Fog Clear on have.
In writing this I searched to find the name (and hopefully picture) of the product because I didn’t have it to hand, co-incidentally I found this review of similar products and the Fog Clear came top. I picked it up from Wilkinson for £4.00 by the way, you don’t have to pay £6.95 for it.
So there you have it. Perhaps as a relatively new driver I have been amazed by something that everyone else knows, but if you sit there for ages in the morning waiting for your car to warm up so you can see out of the window, well you don’t have to.
